We are a well-established destination in Singapore for buying and selling second-hand items. Cash Converters, founded in 1984 as a single-store operation in Perth, Western Australia, has grown into an international franchise with over 530 stores across 24 countries. The first Cash Converters store in Asia opened in Singapore at Tampines in January 1999, and since then, we have expanded to five locations across popular heartlands such as Tampines, Toa Payoh, Jurong, Ang Mo Kio, and Chinatown.

In Malaysia, Cash Converters has nine stores, with the first one opening in Taman SEA PJ in 2001. These stores cater to customers in Klang Valley and Johor Bahru. We provide a convenient alternative to traditional selling methods like classified ads or online platforms by offering immediate cash payments once a price is agreed upon.

At Cash Converters, we accept various household items including TVs, Hi-Fi systems, electrical appliances, computers, jewelry, sporting goods, and musical instruments. However, items like clothing, books, large furniture, refrigerators, and washing machines are not typically traded. All items sold to us must be in working condition and have resale value.

Our customers visit the Buys Room to sell their used items when upgrading or needing extra cash. Each Cash Converters store features two sections: the Buys Room for selling goods and the Retail Section for purchasing from our wide selection of new and pre-owned items. Additionally, we are an authorized recycling center recognized by the National Environment Agency (NEA).
